"I continue on my way"

Imagine that your inner voice burst out. And spoke from the stage. And talked for not one minute, but as many as 60. Well, you can't imagine either?

And we also didn't get anything until we visited the solo performance of Viktoria Shchastlyva. She is a Rotary volunteer, a member of the Rotary Satellite Club Kharkiv "New Level Universe", but is better known in Kharkiv as the head and director of the experimental Contour Theater.

Vika misses peacetime theatrical activities, direction, rehearsals, stage, performances very much. Therefore, a few months ago, she "dropped a teaser" that she dreams of putting on a play in 1 act about the "mission of freedom fighters", as well as dedicated to volunteers and the traumatized fate of millions.

Dreams must come true. Therefore, on December 2, i.e. last Friday, Victoria and the team of the non-state theater "Kontur" in Kharkiv held the first premiere of the one-man play "I continue my path" in the walls of Rotary HUB. We learned the frank story of one woman's life path. About the search for the meaning of life, love and an unexpected war...

The performance took place on a charity basis, but the audience had the opportunity to make a donation. Part of the collected funds has already been transferred to help homeless animals.

Conclusion of the evening:

Theater is a powerful therapy that reaches the subconscious and blocks depression. Today, the focus is on man and his common sense. Therefore, despite various difficulties, theaters should work during the war to help Ukrainians survive, not to dramatize their tomorrow, but to focus on the present: relatives, friends, acquaintances.
