Kharkiv, what do you want for Christmas? Give me warmth!

The 305th day of the war and the 25th day of the military winter. The enemy very much hopes to use this time against us: to make the winter cold and hardship part of his terror. Russia still has missiles and an advantage in artillery. But Ukraine has something that the occupiers do not have and will not have: an indomitable, army front and a united, volunteer rear!

We know firsthand what it is like to sit without electricity, heating, water, or gas for several days. Currently, the weather is on our side - there are no severe frosts characteristic of Kharkiv due to the heat conveyor from the Atlantic. This means that we have time to prepare for the snow cyclone, which forecasters are already predicting, in particular to "warm" people and "warm up" at least a few affected houses.

Therefore, when our partners Iryna Grynets and Benoit Losfeld from the Rescue Ukraine organization and Rotarians from Belgium - Rotary District 2160 asked how to help Rotary Khabu on the occasion of Christmas, we answered: "Send warmth!".

And friends sent a van with warm things, several stoves and a generator. The clothes will be distributed among IDPs who have found temporary shelter in de-occupied communities, and the equipment will be used to heat the buildings on which we are carrying out reconstruction and construction work. Thank you very much for helping the Kharkiv region!
