USA with UA!

Together, not only the high-ranking leadership of America and Ukraine. Partnership relations have developed between representatives of charitable institutions, in particular Rotary, whose representatives we - Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" are.

The Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" is a part of the worldwide family of Rotary International. In total, there are about 46,000 clubs in the world. Life is not enough to communicate with everyone. But our president Pavlo Filippenko wants to make a start so that his descendants - son Arseniy - continue the work.

And so, the other day, Larry W. Anderson, an active member and former president of the Rotary Club of Dawson County (USA, Georgia), visited us. Larry is a Board Certified Family Osteopathic Medicine Specialist and is active in professional associations at both the state and national levels. It should be noted that he is the co-founder and medical director of the Good Shepherd Clinic (a free clinic) in his native Dawsonville.

This visit was prepared and took place thanks to Eugeny Polyashenko, a candidate for membership of our Rotary Club, and his partners from the Patrol Chaplain.

Pavlo and Larry had many topics for conversation:
— we showed and told about the work of our humanitarian HUB, which helps tens of thousands of people;
— told about the Dobrobat project to restore schools, homes and social infrastructure objects;
— showed blankets for severe weather conditions, which are sewn thanks to the money collected for us by the Rotarians of America and Canada
— discussed the details of the rehabilitation program for military personnel

At the end, Pavlo handed Larry the pennant of our club. An ancient tradition that cements friendship between all members.

Ukraine is not alone in the war started by Russia! Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" is not alone in the fight against the humanitarian crisis that has loomed over our city! Thank you Larry for having the courage to visit our home!
