Doing the best we can with what we have, where we are!

After the official Russian attack, a powerful volunteer movement of the "from Ukrainian to Ukrainian" format was spontaneously organized in Ukraine. Only in the first 2-3 days of the invasion, more than 1,700 organizations were created to provide humanitarian aid. It is impossible to estimate the number of citizens involved in volunteering - the number is in the tens of thousands.

Our Rotary HUB (Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level", Rotary Club Kharkov Mriya, Rotary club Kharkiv, Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkiv-City") is help in the format "from Kharkiv resident to Kharkiv resident". We do not direct everything in a row. Ready to spend more time on writing a grant or a speech for a telebridge, just so that the humanitarian goods from the donors correspond as accurately as possible to the requests of those who are waiting for them. Our volunteers clearly confirm this: Serhiy, Andriy, Valentin and Volodymyr.

Everyone works with each other for the sake of people. We help the needy in solving their personal problems, in particular from de-occupied villages. Whenever possible, we establish guardianship over the community or look for those who have the resources for effective guardianship over the phone. Because we have a well-established interaction with other volunteer organizations, foundations, associations.

We consider the experience we have already gained during the 302 days of the war to be painful but useful. Once and for all, it became clear what is effective, what is not, what is primary, what is secondary. And the level of quality business relations formed in February-March, in the normal rhythm of life, would be acquired in three to five years. It turns out that "there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped."

Well, let's continue and approach the intensive, post-war rise!
