We came to Izyum to make a food noise!

To the city, which was under Russian occupation from the beginning of April, and on September 11 - the AFU were bravely released! And so that no one ever calls Izyum a "ghost town with living people", "rehearsals" of the noise of the Ukrainian victory take place here!

For example, 3 days ago, the Lithuanian pianist Darius Majintas held an impromptu concert on Kremenets Hill, where you can see all the destruction left behind by the occupiers. Volunteer construction battalion Dobrobat has been restoring civil infrastructure for 3+ months. Utilities connect houses to heating, in particular, in early December, they provided heat to 68 high-rise buildings. And VOLUNTEERS of Rotary HUB - continue to GIVE FOOD to locals.

Before the war, 50,000 people lived in Izyum, and at the time of liberation, about 10,000 people remained. The photo clearly shows how the raisin beneficiaries look. These are representatives of vulnerable groups: pensioners, disabled people, women with minor children. And we have a special offer for such people.

The food ration from the UN (World Food Program) is a supply of Ukrainian food for the next 3-4 weeks. One box weighs 12.5 kg and consists of: 8 cans of canned meat, 1 bottle of oil, 1 can of canned beans, 6 packs of pasta, 5 bags of flour. It was raining on the day the aid was issued, but is that an obstacle? The answer is obvious.

For 295 days we are fighting for the right of Kharkiv residents to have enough food! We sincerely thank the UN for trusting the WFP program in Kharkiv to our Rotary team! WE ARE STEPPING ON THE ROAD OF VICTORY!
