Children wished, adults - implemented!

Being a parent or other close adult in a child's life can be both the best and the most difficult task. Modern Ukrainian parents are under the influence of one big factor - "war". Terrible events today put pressure on moms and dads to admit that they are unable to fulfill all their son's or daughter's New Year's wishes.

Desperation is such an option. But resorting to support is a guarantee of a successful holiday.

And our holiday has a name - Anton Buryakov - a partner of Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" or MAN-SHOW. He gathered an energetic team, with whom he has been holding COSTUME GAMES in Kharkiv Oblast for the SEVENTH MONTH in a row. The meeting place is constantly changing: in the summer they "hung out" by the lake or on the lawn, in the fall - in parks and on the embankment, in the winter, that is, now - in hostels, shopping centers, sports complexes, etc. Our Rotary HUB supports Anton's initiative with toys and sweets.

This week, with joint efforts, a holiday was held in a dormitory for IDP children. There were contests with prizes, active games and competitions, a drawing area and photo sessions. But the main goal is to write letters for Saint Nicholas Day. And Anton succeeded!

The war continues. Hundreds of people are outside their native walls, streets, villages and towns. All that remains is to learn, develop, participate in the life of the current society. We are happy to be involved in the organization of game situations, help to forget traumatic events and restore a sense of "normality" on the eve of the New Year!
