Thank you Poland for the goodies!
Thank you Poland for the goodies!
And to be more specific, we mean the Polish branch of the Bidfood Farutex company in Lublin, as well as the New Zealand office of the Bidfood NZ company, which provided us with 20 TONS OF PROVISIONS in November, but the distribution of this humanitarian aid is still ongoing.
Why so long?
Because Polish-New Zealand donors sent us honey, jam, canned pineapples and peaches, cookies, milk, cereal. That is, products that are included in the group of healthy treats. Nutritionists recommend consuming these products as a separate meal. For example, a second breakfast or a snack. That's what we're doing: for more than a month, we've been forming 4.5 kg strategic packages with the addition of some Polish sweets for civilians.
But this is the rear, and on the front, Rotary HUB works according to a different "distribution model": we can say "everything at once."
For example, today our volunteers collected and handed over all available goodies from the Polish-New Zealand truck to the fighters of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Because these gangs are constantly regrouping and redeploying for a new attack on the headquarters of the occupier, in particular within the Donetsk region. It is almost impossible to meet them. However, as you can see, the shots did not stop the Rotary volunteers - they met the soldiers, and the boys were very happy with the attention.
For 9 months, the best of the best are united in the fight against autocratic evil: military, civilian, government and business - both Ukrainian and international. So, on behalf of the fighters of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces, we thank the director Remigiusz Kowalski, who heads the branch of the Bidfood Farutex company in Lublin, as well as the company's team from New Zealand. Thank you for your cordiality, friendship and volunteer service in the conditions of war!
