Good brother, tell us how things are going in kindergarten?
Good brother, tell us how things are going in kindergarten?
And Andriy Vorona - coordinator of volunteers of the Kharkiv Dobrobat battalion will tell you without thinking that the sewing of windows with OSB sheets in Preschool educational institution (nursery-kindergarten) #363 IS GOING AS PLAN!
Currently, we cannot afford to install glass windows, neither from the point of view of finances, nor, unfortunately, from the point of view of safety. But oriented strand boards are the best option, because:
1. Fairly high strength both in bending and breaking. OSB slabs are used for construction in earthquake-prone regions.
2. Resistance to moisture. If the material is in a humid environment, the percentage of swelling is only 17-25%.
3. Excellent noise absorption and soundproofing ability.
4. Absence of material shrinkage.
5. Ease of installation. Installation can be done both in the frame and on the surface using screws, self-tapping screws, pins.
Volunteers, including builders, engineers, educators, civil servants, and doctors, worked so diligently and conscientiously that no one even thought about breaks or rest. What can't be said about the educators of the affected kindergarten, who fed well-wishers a hot lunch.
For Kharkiv dobrobativians, the project became a matter of honor in the all-encompassing desire to be useful, to help and to feel the incredible energy of unity! Colleagues from volunteer formations in other affected cities, in particular Sumy Oblast, Chernihiv Oblast, and Kyiv Oblast, are inspiring.
We need a LOT of STRONG hands, so anyone can join the reconstruction of Kharkiv at any time!
