We did sweet things near the school tree!

And that conifer was installed by Galyna Kuklina - a member of the Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level" in her boarding school for children with impaired vision No. 12. Unfortunately, on July 7, the enemy twice hit the yard of the institution. Windows were blown out from the blows, doors were blown away, the roof was broken, and furniture and equipment were scattered in places.

We did not conserve the temple of science. We decided that it would be better to involve a team of volunteers from the Kharkiv Dobrobat battalion and minimally but qualitatively prepare the object for wintering. As you can see, we succeeded in everything. And that is why this week students, parents and teachers who did not leave Kharkiv voluntarily met in the school hall.

They were happy to hug and kiss, take photos with Santa Claus, and of course - charity cookies.

The Rotary HUB team decided that part of the sweet kits, which were collected by volunteers of 15 organizations the day before, should get into the hands of the students of the boarding school. Because children were born not yesterday and during their 6,7,8 years of life, they formed the habit of receiving sweets for the New Year. We collected cool packages: 600 g of candies, cookies, chocolate bars from the manufacturer Roshen.

Someone will say that "holidays are not on time" - there is a war in the country. But we believe that it is necessary to win back land from the invaders, not holidays. Because the holiday is a cyclical routine. It should be transformed, adapted, but not abolished (especially for children!).

Christmas, New Year, Christmas tree, gifts, tangerines and candies are components of belief in miracles, belief in the best. So let's show ourselves and our children that here and there, after the New Year, life goes on! It was, is and will be Ukrainian!
