Beregyns - a mesh of masking goddesses!

Kharkiv Beregyns, or as they call themselves, "Beregyns of Zmiiv Oblast" is a volunteer organization "with history". The main type of activity since 2014 is the weaving of camouflage nets, as well as "kikimor" for the needs of our military. The grid here is called "white winter". Patterns are made on it - "bombshells". They are knitted from gray, dark blue or black stripes.

"Spiders" are always needed at the front. If only because no regulations provide for today's real length of the front with its hundreds of kilometers of trenches, dangerous "crossings", firing points, observation posts, caponiers with equipment (including many spare positions). And this is understood not only in Zmiiv, but also residents of neighboring communities.

The founder of the foundation, the main custodian - Tetyana Lutyk personally teaches the weaving technique, in particular to the women of Sheludkivka village and even students of the local lyceum. Together, they carry out "big orders", for example, they recently handed over 22 grids = 665 m² for the brigade of the Eastern Group.

For the further creation of means of protection, craftsmen need material: fabrics, scraps of fabrics, second-hand items made of NATURAL fibers, cotton or with a high content of natural fibers MUST BE WHITE/GRAY. A little bit of the necessary material was found in the walls of Rotary HUB, so through clubmate Eugeny Chumak, stocks of white and gray fabric (tablecloths, bed linen, second-hand, light-colored clothes) were transferred.

In addition, they put tea on the banks so that they would not freeze in a weakly heated room. +1 good deed, and glory to Ukraine!
