We want to know how to properly save life!

These are volunteers of the Kharkiv branch of the reconstruction battalion Dobrobat. They voluntarily submitted an application for admission and agreed to rebuild our region: cover the destroyed roofs with slate, repair broken windows with OSB sheets and film, blow holes in damaged walls with foam, etc. These people spent more than 2,500 hours and prepared more than 50 objects of housing and social infrastructure of Kharkiv for the severe winter.

That is, they know how to repair houses. And now - how to save each other!

The other day, on the basis of the training and methodical center of civil protection and life safety at the State Emergency Service, a training session was held dedicated to defense in the rear. The volunteers listened to the briefing from three modules: safety rules for emergency rescue operations, features of individual protection, as well as the algorithm of actions for first aid.

There were 21 people from Dobrobat who worked out the theory in practice within the framework of simulating emergency situations. In the end, we received personal certificates from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

We believe that this is a vital experience for volunteers, since they work not only in a relatively quiet area, but also in noisy places, in particular in Kupyansk. We hope that the acquired knowledge will not be applied in real life, but as they say: "Aware means armed." Therefore, we thank the team of the State Emergency Service for holding a practical seminar!
