Come, take, leave!

Thanks to Ms. Galina, not only volunteer cars are "departing" from the territory of the HUB. This woman fills the space with the beauty of hand-made, which people "leave" for.

Another victim of the war, who on February 24 lost her private entrepreneur status and the opportunity to freely sell self-made decor elements, floral compositions for weddings, ceremonies, festive events, etc. Therefore, when Valentina Filipenko, the wife of our president, invited Halyna to the Rotary volunteer movement, this woman's hands itched, literally and figuratively. Isn't that an alternative?

There was never any talk of evacuation to other regions. Half of my life has already been lived - peacefully, interestingly, richly. She tried everything she could think of. Do not believe? Well, then take into account the fact that Galya began her career as a real technician - she worked as a physics teacher at school. Later, she discovered a creative component in herself and began to work for herself, and in the end she reached the peak - she conquered the peak of mercy.

It can be said that charity is her new creativity. Together with her husband, she oversees the sleeping area - Kholodna Gora. However, according to Halyna, word of mouth radio in Kharkiv works better than usual, so delivering aid to another part of the city is not a problem for the Protopopov couple. Aleksiivka, Saltivka, Zhuky - will come anywhere at the first request.

At the same time, they realize that they are not just couriers of good. They are psychologists. Because everyone's soul is hard, everyone is alive and sometimes it squeezes so much that you lose the source of air. In such moments, you need to quickly look into sincere eyes, share your experiences and get a sip. Or vice versa - to saturate an unfamiliar soul with faith.

Galina comes to HUB, takes and leaves with humanitarian packages 4,5,6 times a week. And we are happy to "move away" from her needlework. Therefore, in no case can you stop!

We need to remember and remind each other that people are looking for volunteers. Volunteers are people. Armed Forces of Ukraine - enemies. And all together - VICTORY! Glory to Ukraine!
