In Finnish, love children and respect old age!

The Finns are a peaceful nation. Learning to take the first steps, or on the contrary to slow down the pace of your life, HERE, in a Northern European country, is especially PLEASANT. Google thinks so.

But we have come to our conclusion - the Finns are benevolent towards the vulnerable strata of the population. Even if these groups of people are from Eastern European countries.

A HUMANITARIAN VAN worth $25,000 came to us from Lahta (Finland) yesterday. For grandmothers, grandfathers, parents with small children, the disabled and the rest of Kharkiv residents, the ROTARY D 1390 club represented by MI Horkko and Eila Parviainen RECEIVED A GRANT for the PURCHASE of PRODUCTS and also PAID for TRANSPORTATION of the car to Ukraine.

Our volunteers, in particular Oleksiy Ponayotov and Iryna Lysykova, have already DISTRIBUTED the FIRST grocery sets. Inside the bags we put: dried fruit with nuts, canned tuna, canned meat, cookies with chocolate chips, oatmeal cookies, tea, etc.

For our HUB (Rotary Club Kharkiv "New Level", Rotary Club Kharkov Mriya, Rotary club Kharkiv, Kharkiv Rotary Club "Kharkov City") partnership with the Finns means strengthening Rotary, international communication, as well as providing the city of Kharkiv with expensive, in all senses of the word, goods.

We are happy to serve with Rotary Finland!
