AT TIMES OF STRAIN LET'S WARM UKRAINE
Today I'll tell you about one of our VICTORIES
We call this project "At times of strain let's warm Ukraine"
Since the first days of the war, we were clearly aware that certain items could be hardly available but highly necessary for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the territorial defense, as well as for people in difficult living circumstances
These are simple, but necessary things:
We received the first 1000 pairs of socks as a gift from a Rotarian from Poltava Alexander Hardin. Over the next few days, we were able to gather the required amount of finances (we are grateful to you all for all the funds that you have sent us) and:
All these items are already in our Humanitarian HUB, and our "battalion" of food and material support consisting of Pavel Filippenko, Vladimir Pogodaev, Sergey Sidorov has been providing them by request for more than a week. Through these two directions we have invested 120,500 UAH in our Victory.
We will have enough stock for another 7-8 days.
We keep seeking targeted financial assistance for this project.
On the second day of the war, I turned to my friend Sergei Kotov, who sews fashionable and beautiful jackets at peaceful times, coats and suits at peaceful times, with the question regarding what can be used to sew for the military and civilian people. After a little "brainstorm" we decided to sew blankets. And not just simple blankets, but specifically those designed for difficult conditions.
They are three-layer:
The size of one blanket is large: 200 * 150 cm. It can be used to wrap up either one or several people.
It turned out to be sooooo very cool
There are already the first responses from fighters of the Army and the territorial defense. We have received plenty of praise. The soldiers asked to make blankets either with zippers or straps (we can't find them) to stand on the post at night, in the wind.
Incredibly happy people in the subway, in bomb shelters, in basements.
Ordinary blankets quickly become saturated with moisture and dirt.
But ours hold up perfectly.
Tailoring is carried out by the Kharkiv sewing enterprise of Sergey Kotov "Centaur".
Serhiy sewed the first 100 units at his own expense, later we found two important patrons who paid for 500 units.
Pavlo Tsaruk, General Director of TAS Insurance Company. We sew blankets for the Armed Forces and the territorial defense at his cost.
With the money of the Zaporizhia Charitable Foundation "Unity for the Future" through project cooperation with NGO Estonian Refugee Council, blankets for civilians are sewn.

Total cost for this project - UAH 300,000.

What is the problem at hand
We are negotiating with large organizations, and they are ready to provide money for tailoring, but only for civilians.
We are actively looking for organizations and individuals who are willing to pay for sewing such blankets for the military.
We have a total need of 10,000 blankets.
The total budget of the project is UAH 5,600,000.
Conclusion
More than UAH 420,000 has already been used in the project "At times of strain let's warm Ukraine".
Production was established under shelling and bombardment.
The system of distributing blankets, socks, linen from hand to hand is adjusted. Only for those who are in dire need.
