Every day, fire brigades go out 50 to 70 times a day to put out fires. The number of combat calls has increased tenfold compared to peacetime! The daily work of firefighters is the same battle as the defenders on the front line!

The main weapon in firefighting is fire hoses.

Equipment and components are consumed, replenished with nothing and nowhere.

Both plants that produced fire hoses are not working. Enemies destroyed the enterprise in Mariupol. In Kharkiv, the plant is not working due to mass shelling.
On the 40th day of the war, the deficit became critical. In Rotary, the Kharkiv New Level Club sought the help of the head of the Kharkiv Ministry of Emergencies. The Chief of Staff of our humanitarian projects Serhiy Ivaglo set a task for his teammates: "Find fire hoses".

Rotarians called dozens of businesses. 90% of them were already "empty". All stocks are sold out. We managed to find fire hoses in one place in Kyiv. It was necessary to act quickly! Due to high demand, there was a queue for sleeves. He who is ready to pay immediately, he takes away. “I didn't think so, I took the bill and transferred the prepayment from personal savings. Firefighters save lives every day, if I can help them, I will. ” - This is how Serhiy Bobokalo, the Founder of the company-manufacturer of medical drugs BioFlavid LLC, described the situation.

Oleksandr Chupylko, a Rotarian and head of a large shopping center in Kharkiv, helped find the remaining amount. Thanks to his contacts with German Rotary clubs: RC Konstanz, RC Konstanz-Mainau and RC Konstanz-Rheintor, the partners, hearing the essence of the problem, immediately paid the bill in the amount of UAH 71,000.

As a result - almost two kilometers of hoses, Rotarians bought for the fire department of Kharkiv. Equipped with everything you need, SES officers will be able to prevent the growth of individual fires in a fire that could destroy the city! Our heroes with inhuman efforts keep the fire and save people's lives!
